Baby was confiscated from her owner in New York when she was about four months old. The New York ASPCA arranged for her placement at IEAS as well as arranging transportation through American Airlines at no charge. Baby now lives with her friend Cookie, another female bobcat. Baby and Cookie enjoy living in their large, natural habitat. When it's very cold, they will usually spend most of their time snuggled up together in the warm hay in their igloo. During the hot summers, Baby and Cookie like to spend most of their days in their cool cave, and sometimes up in a tree. In the evenings, Baby likes to come out and explore, chase birds, and play with Cookie or her tennis ball. She also likes when those she knows and trusts come to visit her. She will sometimes come over and lay next to the fence and rest. Sometimes she will just find a nice, sunny spot to take a nap in. You can help support Baby too!
