Bob9
Birthdate: May 12, 1994
Arrived: Jun 1, 1995
Gender: Male
Bob9 was placed at IEAS because his owner traveled a great deal and was not able to properly care for him. Originally, Bob9 lived with his friend, Newt, another male bobcat. When Bob became ill with West Nile Virus, the two had to be separated. Since, Bob has recovered from his illness with the only lasting affect being a slight impairment of his vision. Bob likes to spend most of the day snoozing on his perch. During the evenings, once everyone has gone home and everything is quiet, Bob likes to come down and explore. He will run up and down his perches and ramps, stopping to kneed and sharpen his claws in certain spots. He also likes to chase the leaves that are blowing in the wind and the bugs flying around in the air. Not too many people get to see this energetic side of Bob9, unless you are in the right place at the right time. It really is one of the most entertaining scenes here at the Sanctuary! You can help support Bob9, too.
