Bruno

Bruno

Birthdate: May 29, 1993
Arrived: Jan 1, 1995
Gender: Male

For almost two years, Bruno lived at a private residence with a cougar named BB. They were abandoned for approximately seven days at a house in Fort Worth with no food or water. When the North Texas Humane Society came to rescue the two cats, they had already started ripping out the wall in order to get to the water pipes. After they were rescued, the two cats were subsequently sent to IEAS. Bruno and BB are not housed together anymore but rather in adjacent habitats. Their days of being abused, thirsty and starved are long gone. Bruno is probably a cross between a Bengal and Sumatran Tiger, with most of his physical characteristics being Sumatran. Every morning, Bruno enjoys playing with his hanging tire while waiting for his breakfast. During the hot summer months, tours will be able to see him take a dip in his pool. Bruno loves the attention he gets from visitors and will usually put on quite a show.

Personality Traits

Bruno is very affectionate tiger and enjoys visits from just about anyone.
