Cookie came to the Sanctuary through the Vernon Police Department. when it was thought she had been abandoned by her mother. She was just about a month old at the time. Cookie now lives with her friend Baby, another female bobcat. Cookie enjoys life here at IEAS. She has a house and an igloo for shelter and protection, caves to cool off in, grass to roll around in, perches to nap on, and trees to climb. Cookie enjoys visits from those she knows. She may take a little while to become comfortable with strangers, as is true with many of the bobcats. Once she trusts someone, she will usually come over and lie down by the fence near you. She also likes to watch Newt, her male bobcat neighbor, whenever he comes down to explore. You can help support Cookie, too.
