Kimberly and her sister, Karen, were brought to IEAS by their caregivers to avoid licensing problems for their owners. Kimberly was named by Heinz Simon, who donated funds for her care, after his daughter. Kimberly now enjoys her life in her new habitat that has a running pool, perches and trees for shade. She enjoys playing in her pool most of the time. It doesn't matter what time of year it is. Even on the coldest day, she will play in the waterfall for a bit. She also enjoys seasonal enrichment items such as pumpkins. You will usually find pieces of it in the pool and in her water trough.
Kimberly is a very playful tiger, but she is also very affectionate at times too. She enjoys visits from her human friends who are there to provide her emotional enrichment.
