History:

Naya was rescued by North Texas Humane Society after the owner failed to comply with the City of Arlington's request to relocate Naya from his apartment home. Naya was only a few months old when he arrived, and he is now probably one of the largest tigers here at the Sanctuary. Naya now enjoys a spacious habitat with a running pool, perches and enrichment items to play with. His two favorite items are his big red boomer ball and his tire. He enjoys rolling the boomer ball back and forth into the fence over and over. It usually ends up blocking one of his gates. With his tire, he will lie there with the tire draped over his head wearing it like a necklace. Naya also enjoys flirting with his neighbor, Kashmere. You will often see him lying next to the fence just inches away from Kashmere. 

Personality:

Naya is a very friendly tiger and is a good candidate for the Adopt an Animal Program.
