Prince was rescued from a Coryell County property. All of the animals on the property were found living in very poor environmental conditions. Conditions inside the dwelling were deemed dangerous for both the humans and animals. Prince along with a Princess, Duke and Duchess were brought to IEAS after a judge granted permanent custody of the 300 plus animals rescued from the property to the Houston SPCA. On March 8th, with the help of the Houston Zoo and the Houston SPCA, the four arrived at their new home. Prince was anxious to get into his new habitat when he arrived. He now enjoys a large habitat with a pool, perches, a cave and other enrichment items to play with. Even during the cooler months, you will still see him take a dip in his pool.
Prince is comfortable with those he trusts and will come over and lay next to the fence when they come for a visit.
