Taz

Taz

Birthdate: Jul 25, 1993
Arrived: Sep 17, 1997
Gender: Male

Taz is a boarder at the Sanctuary. His owner gave funds for his habitat to be built. Taz is probably one of the most private bobcats here at IEAS. He likes to spend most of the day snoozing in his house. Once everything has quited down and the workday is over, he likes to come out and explore. In the summer of 2007, IEAS keepers took on the project of building caves for all of the bobcats. Taz has especially enjoyed this new addition to his habitat. You can always find him cooling off in his cave on the hot summer days. As private as he is, Taz still benefits from our Emotional Enrichment Program. It may take a while for him to warm up to someone and begin to trust them. When a new inters decides to spend time with Taz, he may stay in his house for the first few visits. He will eventually begin to come out when he sees you though, after he is comfortable with you. He likes to come over and lay by the fence where you are sitting. You can help support Taz, too.
