Tiger was sent to IEAS when his owners were forced to give him up by Amarillo Animal Control. They did not have the proper permits. Tiger now live in a natural, spacious habitat with his friend Tassers, another male bobcat. Both Tiger and Tassers have benefited greatly from our Emotional Enrichment Program. They love to have people come to sit by the fence and visit with them. When keepers have to complete tasks inside the habitat such as cleaning, raking, or repairing a perch, they will usually need something to distract these curious cats while they are working. Tassers and Tiger love to lay down and rub on your feet. To avoid this problem, the keepers will bring in a large flake of hay or climbing in and out of the leaf buckets. It's a win win for everyone!
