Environmental Enrichment

Allie Kat checks out her waterfallEnvironmental Enrichment is one of the forms of enrichment offered to the animals at IEAS. Each animal has a spacious, naturalistic habitat in which they can do most of the same activities that they would enjoy in the wild. We have multi-level perches and ramps for the climbing feline residents such as cougars and leopards, pools and waterfalls for the tigers, caves to keep cool in for the cougars, bobcats and several of the lions. The cheetahs even have a grassy hill with a waterfall which they sit on and survey their surroundings.
