Tricky Simba

Date: 02-19-2012

Simba decided to make feeding a little tricky this morning.  Usually we use the cat's house gate to lock them out in order to be able to put their breakfast in their house for them.  Today, Simba decided to leave his tire right under the gate so that we couldn't put it down.  But...we always have our ways!  Most of the habitats of IEAS are divided into two different sections.  This way, an animal can be locked over on one side of the habitat while we work on the other side.  So today, we just locked Simba on the upper half of his habitat using his midgate.  We were then able to safely put his food in his house...and move that tire out of the way of his house gate!  So we'll see where his tire winds up tomorrow morning!  Hopefully not right back in the same spot!
