International Exotic Animal Sanctuary - Providing a Safe and Caring Environment for Exotic Animals

Issue 16, March 18, 2008

Greetings friends!

BearThe International Exotic Animal Sanctuary, Inc. needs your help! We would like to raise $1,500 to purchase a walk-in cooler. As many of you know, in July 2007 IEAS began rescuing bears in addition to exotic felines. In order to provide the bears with a balanced diet, we feed them a mixture of fruits, vegetables, meat, and a special kibble made specifically for omnivores. Two of the local food markets in our area kindly donate all of the produce for the bears. We are very thankful for their generosity! However, we currently do not have the equipment to properly store all of the produce supplied by the local markets. Because of this, some of the fruits and vegetables become spoiled before we have a chance to feed it to the bears. A walk-in cooler will allow us to store the food and keep it fresh for a much longer time, thus limiting any waste that we may have. We already have a local heating and air conditioning company that will donate their time to install the cooler for IEAS.

BearWe would like to thank you for all of your generous support. Our ability to provide the animals of IEAS with the absolute highest quality of care is possible only with the help of caring individuals like you! Any amount, large or small, will help tremendously!

Sincerely,

Richard Gilbreth
